Jamshedpur: Saryu Roy, MLA, Jamshedpur East, participated in the Sarhul celebrations at Sitaramdera and took part in the cultural programs as well as the procession.
On the occasion of Sarhul, a prominent festival of Jharkhand, different tribal communities organized a programme in which Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy and BJM District President Subodh Srivastava also took part.
At Sitaramdera, the Oraon Samaj, Ho Samaj, and Munda Samaj staged a cultural event in which Saryu Roy, the MLA of Jamshedpur East, also participated.
He wished everyone for Sarhul and emphasized the significance of the festival in India’s central region.
He also spoke about how the importance of nature worship is emphasized in the fervor with which tribal groups in Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, and Bengal celebrate Sarhul.
Saryu Roy also joined the procession and offered prayers at the place of worship.
BJM District President Subodh Srivastava, District General Secretary Kulwinder Singh Pannu, Manoj Singh Ujjain, Rajan Kujur, Bhagwat Mukherjee, Santosh Srivastava, and other officeholders were also present at the event.
