CM Hemant Soren Pays Floral Tributes to Late Nirmal Mahato in Jamshedpur

CM: Government is determined to give full respect and rights to the departed heroes of the Jharkhand separate state movement.

Jamshedpur: The Chief Minister Mr. Hemant Soren today arrived in Jamshedpur and paid floral tributes to late Nirmal Mahato and garlanded his statue at Uliyan.

Later, he said that today the whole state is remembering and saluting late Nirmal Mahto, one of the founders of the Jharkhand movement, on his birth anniversary.

He said that late Nirmal Mahato was the pioneer of the Jharkhand separate state movement.

The Chief Minister said that he had given strength and edge to the Jharkhand separate state movement and struggle with his leadership abilities. He said that ultimately he also sacrificed his life for the cause he championed.

He said that Jharkhand can never forget his contribution in the separate statehood movement. We have to renovate Jharkhand by following his dreams and footprints.

On the occasion of the 72nd birth anniversary of Nirmal Mahto today, the Chief Minister paid tribute at the statue located at Kadma, Ulyan in Jamshedpur by garlanding it.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister paid floral tributes at the memorial and and also met his family members.

The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Shibu Soren, many heroes had sacrificed their lives to get the status of a separate state for Jharkhand. Today we are working to build the Jharkhand of the dreams of those martyrs.

The Chief Minister said that the government is determined to give full respect and rights to the heroes and martyrs of the separate state movement.

Along with pension, it has been decided to provide reservation in jobs and many other facilities to the families/dependents of the martyrs.

In order to improve the standard of living of tribals, Dalits, backward, poor, farmers, they are being covered with many welfare schemes, he said.

The Chief Minister said that just as the heroes of our state protested against feudalism, in the same way today we have to raise our voice for the rights of the deprived, exploited, helpless, poor and backward sections of the society.

Those who were present on the occasion included Champai Soren, Minister, Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Welfare Department, Banna Gupta, Minister, Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare Department, MLA Ghatshila Mr. Ram Das Soren, MLA Ichagarh Mrs. Savita Mahato, MLA Bahragora Mr. Sameer Mohanty, MLA Potka Mr. Sanjeev Sardar, MLA Jugsalai Mr. Mangal Kalindi and a large number of people.
