Sidhgora: 8 arrested with gun, hookah and liquor from 10 No Basti house

All arrested persons sent to judicial custody

Jamshedpur: Sidhgora police of Jamshedpur Monday arrested 8 youths from a 10 No. Basti house with a country-made gun, liquor and hookah. All 8 have been sent to judicial custody.

Dy SP Virendra Ram confirmed that the police have arrested a total of 8 people with a country-made pistol. Along with this, hookah and liquor have also been recovered.

The Dy SP Virendra Ram said that on the basis of a tip-off late last night, Sidhgora police got information about there being a gathering of some youths at a particular house in 10 No. Basti.

Acting swiftly on the tip-off, the police station in-charge Ranjit Kumar formed a team and raided the house.

Eight youths were arrested from there.

According to the police, when they were searched, a country-made pistol was found in their possession and they were caught drinking hookah and liquor.

The Dy SP said that after getting inebriated, the intention of these people was to carry out some criminal incident.

For now, all the accused have been sent to judicial custody.
