Another accused arrested in Dhatkidih firing case

Jamshedpur: Another accused of Dhatkidih firing case was arrested Thursday by the city police and was sent to judicial custody.

According to police sources, another person has been arrested in connection with the firing done on Mohammad Iqbal in Dhatkidih under Bistupur police station of Jamshedpur recently. The police have also recovered illegal weapons from the accused.

The police has already sent 12 criminals to jail in this case.

A member of the same Salman gang who was involved in the Dhatkidih firing incident has again been arrested by the police Thursday. The name of the accused has been revealed by the city police as Akash Singh alias Batla.

The SSP today told the media that the police have seized two country-made pistols, a country-made revolver, cartridges and mobile from the accused arrested today.

The police have sent the arrested accused to judicial custody.

The SSP Prabhat Kumar said that several criminal cases have already been registered against the accused.
