CM to Inaugurate, Lay Foundations of Power Sub-Stations in Garhwa, Palamu on Monday

132/33 KV Grid sub-station of Bhagodih in Garhwa would be inaugurated. On the other hand, foundation stone of 132/33 KV Grid Sub-station of Bhavnathpur/ Nagaroontari in Garhwa and 132/33 KV Grid Sub-station of Chhatarpur in Palamu would also be laid by the CM on Monday

Ranchi: The Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Hemant Soren, will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various transmission projects of Jharkhand Urja Sancharan Nigam Limited (JUSNL) from the new auditorium of Project Bhawan, Ranchi on Monday, 6th September.

Bhagodih sub-station will be inaugurated on this occasion.

At the same time, the foundation stone of the grid sub-stations of Bhavnathpur and Chhatarpur will be laid too.

According to the Principal Secretary, Energy Department, Avinash Kumar 100 MVA capacity sub-station of Bhagodih will be inaugurated

Avinas Kumar informed that 132/33 KV Grid sub-station of Bhagodih in Garhwa would be inaugurated by the Chief Minister.

The capacity of this sub-station is 100 MVA (2×50 MVA).

26.74 crore has been spent in the construction of this project and it is now ready to be inaugurated.

Areas like Makri, Pandariya, Buka, Garda, Saraiya, Arsali etc. will be benefited by this project.

Foundation stone will also be laid for 100-100 MVA capacity sub-station in Bhavnathpur and Chhatarpur.

The Principal Secretary informed that the foundation stone of 132/33 KV Grid Sub-station of Bhavnathpur/ Nagaroontari in Garhwa and 132/33 KV Grid Sub-station of Chhatarpur in Palamu would be laid by the Chief Minister.

The capacity of the above two sub-stations is 100 MVA (2×50 MVA) whereas the cost of the sub-station to be constructed at Bhawanathpur is Rs.38.07 crore.

On the other hand, the cost of the sub-station to be built in Chhatarpur is Rs 53.23 crore.
