Kisan Credit Cards distributed among farmers

On World Indigenous People’s Day scores of farmers were issued KCC. Jugsalai MLA Mangal Kalindi and Baharagora MLA Samir Mohanty gave away the Kisan Credit Cards to the beneficiaries.

Jamshedpur: On the occasion of World Tribal Day, Kisan Credit Card and livestock were distributed among the beneficiaries at Jamshedpur.

The Jugsalai MLA Mangal Kalindi and Baharagora MLA Samir Mohanty was present during the program organised on Monday.

The state government provided Kisan Credit Cards and livestock finance for the welfare of farmers across the state.

About 17 thousand beneficiaries got these benefits in East Singbhum district, which is at third place across the state.

The main program for this was organised in the state capital Ranchi.

A program was also organized for the farmers of East Singhbhum district at Jamshedpur district headquarters auditorium.

Kisan Credit Cards were distributed among the farmers of East Singhbhum district.

At the same time, the distribution of livestock was also done. The beneficiaries looked happy.

The MLA Mangal Kalindi, who was present on the occasion, said that tribals have also contributed significantly in the freedom movement of India.

The MLA said that apart from Bhagwan Birsa Munda, Sidhu-Kanhu, Chand-Bhairava, Tilka Majhi, scores of others too participated in the freedom movement.

Ambulance being flagged off by Jugsalai and Baharagora MLAs in Jamshedpur.

On 9th August, on the occasion of World Tribal Day, Kisan Credit Card was distributed by the Chief Minister of the state, Hemant Soren, to make the farmers resilient.

Besides, an ambulance was handed over to the district administration by Samir Mohanty, MLA of Bahragora assembly of East Singbhum district, to improve the health system in his constituency.

At the same time, a hearse was also provided to the administration by him.

The MLA Samir Mohanty said that Bahragora assembly constituency is far away from Jamshedpur urban area. Patients have to face a lot of difficulties in coming here from rural areas for better medical treatment.

In view of this, he said, an ambulance was provided to the district administration from the MLA fund for the Baharagora area.

Along with this, a hearse for carrying dead bodies was also handed over to the district administration.

The Deputy Commissioner East Singhbhum Suraj Kumar while wishing all the residents of the district on the World Tribal Day said that the state government and the district administration are determined to increase the income of the farmers of the district.

With the aim of making the farmers strong and self-reliant, many public welfare schemes are being run by the government, so that farmers can get their proper benefits.

The Deputy Commissioner said that out of 1.21 lakh beneficiaries in East Singhbhum district, 70 thousand beneficiaries were given the benefit of KCC scheme.

49 thousand people were to get more benefits, in which 25 thousand applications were taken. Out of these 17 thousand farmers were given the benefit of KCC.

Under the Chief Minister Pashudhan Vikas Vitran Yojana, benefits were to be given to 1200 farmers. In these, schemes of duck rearing, pig farming, goat rearing were included.

He said that 80 targets of this scheme have been achieved.

On Monday, 29 farmers received benefits under the said scheme.
