Thives target Bhuwaneshwari Kali Mandir, steal 7 iron domes

Jamshedpur: Thieves are having a field day in Kadma police station area. They have been emboldened to such an extent that they are not sparing even mandir of the area. Stone pelting by miscreants too has become a common phenomenon in the area. This is making the residents anxious for their safety.

According to information received, unknown miscreants stole at least 7 out of 8 iron domes from Bhuwaneshwari Kali Mandir at Bhatia Bhasti, Kadma Saturday night.

A delegation of Mandir Committee and local residents reached Kadma police station with their complaint and met the officer-in-charge.

The social activist Bachchelal Bhagat met the officer in charge and urged him to rein in the anti-social elements and thieves in the area.

He said that if things are not controlled in reasonable time period, then they would also apprise the SSP and other senior police officers of the state.
