Banna Gupta launches development schemes worth Rs. 4.24 cr in Jamshedpur West

Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur West MLA and state Health Minister Banna Gupta on Saturday launched development schemes worth Rs 4.24 crore in Jamshedpur West, a constituency that he represents.

On Saturday, Health Minister Banna Gupta laid the foundation stone of 124 schemes. These schemes will be funded from the MLA fund for 2020-21.

These schemes include 74 schemes worth Rs 2.10 crore pertaining to JNAC and 50 schemes worth Rs 2.14 crore pertaining to Mango Municipal Corporation.

While laying the foundation of such schemes, Banna Gupta said that the government is ready to speed up development works even at a time it is busy fighting against Corona pandemic. He said that no obstacle will be allowed to hamper the development works in the state.

He said this will give impetus to the pace of development in the area. The schemes selected for funding from the MLA fund include construction of roads, drains, culverts, high mast lights, street lights, boring and hand pump etc.

The Minister said that the foundation stone of development schemes meant for JNAC and Mango Municipal Corporation areas.

The Executive Officer of Mango Municipal Corporation Deepak Sahai, Special Officer of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee Krishna Kumar, MLA representative Manoj Jha and MLA representative Prabhat Thakur were also present in the foundation stone laying ceremony.
