No corona death for 32 straight days in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: There has been no corona-caused death in Jamshedpur even on Saturday. The city has gone without any casualty for 32 straight days now. The death toll remains at 374.

According to official data, 30 new coronavirus infections cases have been detected on Saturday taking the total number of infections to 17,768.

On the other hand, 32 patients were also cured and discharged. The total number of cured patients has now reached 17,231 in East Singhbhum district.

For now, the city has only 163 coronavirus active cases.

The recovery rate in the district has reached 97.1%, while the mortality rate is at 2.1%. The positivity rate till Saturday has remained at 3.7%.

Till date, the district has tested 4,86,273 samples. Out of these, 4,68,505 samples have tested negative, while, 17,768 samples have tested positive.
