Corona claims 1 more life in Jharkhand on Monday, total deaths 1,036 now

160 new cases detected, 232 cured too

Ranchi: Coronavirus has claimed 1 more life on Monday taking the total number of deaths due to the pandemic to 1,036 in the state. On Monday 1 deaths was reported in the state. The death was reported by Ranchi district.

The recovery rate in the state is at 97.78%, while the mortality rate is at 0.89%.

As per official data, 160 new cases have been detected in the state on Monday, taking the number of total infections to 1,15,689. Out of these, 1,13,125 have already been cured. On Monday too, 232 patients have been cured and discharged.

For now, the state has 1,528 active cases of coronavirus infection, while the deaths have reached the figure of 1,036.

Till date, 48,51,534 samples have been tested in the state.
