Hindu Yuva Sangharsh Samity demands curb on anti-social activities in Telco area

Jamshedpur: Hindu Yuva Sangharsh Samity has urged the City SP to take steps to ensure that the anti-social activities and drug menace in Telco police station area is curbed as soon as possible.

The Samity also submitted a memorandum to the City SP on Thursday. The memorandum says that anti-social elements have become completely wanton in Telco police station area and they dominate most of the parks and public places in the evening causing problems for the local citizenry. The memorandum also says that anti-social elements indulge in consuming drugs and illegal substances and then harass women. It says that if locals protest against their objectionable behaviour, these anti-socials even assault them.

Such incidents, the memorandum adds, has created apprehension in the mind of the local citizenry. It also complains that the local police are not taking any action against the anti-social elements indulging in such objectionable activities.

The Samity has urged the City SP to take strict action against the anti-social elements and curb the crime graph in the area.
