Coronavirus kills 2 in Jharkhand on Wednesday, total death toll now 851

Ranchi: Covid-19 virus has taken 2 more lives in Jharkhand on Wednesday. With this, the total number of deaths in the state due to virus has now reached 851.

According to official data, the state has tested 29,75,206 samples till Wednesday. Out of these, 98,061 samples have tested positive.

For now, till Wednesday night, the state has 6,206 active cases of coronavirus infections.

On Wednesday itself, 647 new cases of infection were detected in the state, taking the total number of infections to 98,061. On the other hand, same day 619 patients were also cured and discharged from different parts of the state taking the total number of cured patients to 91,004.

However, 2 deaths have also been reported taking the total number of deaths to 851.

East Singhbhum remains the worst-affected district of the state with 345 deaths.
