Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Purva Sainik Sewa Parishad held a huge demonstration Tuesday evening at Sakchi Gol Chakkar against Farooq Abdullah and other politicians allegedly making statements against the national interest.
The ex-soldiers said that the politicians are issuing hateful remarks against ex-serivcemen and are cracking jokes at their families.
They vehemently condemned the statement of Farooq Abdullah that he would like to see re-instatement of Article 370 with the help of China.
Taking offence at such statements, the ex-servicemen said that the politicians and many intellectuals are indulging in anti-national activities in the name of freedom of expression.
Demonstrating and shouting slogans at Sakchi Gol Chakkar, the ex-soldiers holding placards shouting slogans against Farooq Abdullah and his ilk.
An ex-solider, Varun Kumar also demanded that a law be made so that the membership to the legislature of such anti-national politicians be scrapped. They also passed for a constitutional amendment to curb the activities and statements of those who work against the interest of the country.
