Corona claims 10 more lives on Wednesday in Jharkhand, total deaths 767

Ranchi: Coronavirus continues to take a heavy toll in Jharkhand. On Wednesday too, the virus killed 10 persons in different districts of the state, taking the total death toll to 767.

According to official data, the total Coronavirus infection cases in Jharkhand have climbed up to 89,702. The state has 97,059 active cases till Wednesday.

In all, 79,176 patients have been cured and discharged in the state till date, while 767 have succumbed to the virus.

Among the 10 casualties reported on Wednesday are included 1 from Latehar district, 1 from Lohardaga, 1 from Kodarma, 2 from Dhanbad, 1 from Jamshedpur, 1 from Giridih, 1 from Hazaribagh and 1 from Bokaro.

On Wednesday, 829 new positive cases have been detected. Ranchi alone has reported 388 new cases, while East Singhbhum, the worst affected district has reported 61 new cases.
