JNAC felicitates 30 children for ‘Kabad se Jugad’ creativity

Jamshedpur: JNAC felicitated and rewarded 30 children who performed well in the ‘Kabad se Jugad’ annual competition organised this year. The children were felicitated and awarded on Tuesday.

JNAC organised a ‘Kabad se Jugad’ competition under Swachha Bharat Mission this year too. The competition was organised online this year keeping Covid-19 pandemic in mind.

More than 200 children had participated in the programme. 30 were selected for felicitation and rewards.

The Special Officer of JNAC Krishna Kumar encouraged the children and lauded their efforts in using their creativity to turn waste materials into useful things.

He said that children are not only future of the country, but they can be an inspiration for others too.

He also appealed ot the citizens to help in making the city polythene-free.

The Special Officer of JNAC Krishna Kumar said that such programmes would bring awareness among children. He said that an effort would be made to make the city one of the Top 10 cleanest cities in the country this year with the help of all citizens. This year, the city was on 15th position in the country, while it top of the list in terms of cleanliness in the state.
