Jamshedpur: All the employees of MGM Medical College have gone on an indefinite flash strike on Saturday against the alleged misbehaviour of the HOD of Pharmacology Department Upendra Kumar Singh with a college employee Vijay Kumar Mallick.

According to information received, the HOD of Pharmacology department Upendra Kumar Singh had scolded an employee Vijay Kumar Mallick over installation of a water filter in the college. The altercation soon turned into a verbal duel and even reached the stage of abuse.

Later, the college administration intervened and somehow managed the situation.

The employees alleged that Upendra Kumar Singh continued to misbehave with Vijay Kumar Mallick and this forced them to go on strike. They said that they would not withdraw their strike until the concerned HOD apologises to Vijay Kumar Mallick for his misbehaviour.
