Corona kills 5 more in Jharkhand on Tuesday, State death tally now 428

New cases 2064, 969 cured

Ranchi: Covid-19 is still raging and unrelenting in Jharkhand. On Tuesday, 5 more persons lost their lives due to coronavirus taking the total death toll for the state to 428.

Meanwhile, Jharkhand has also found 2064 fresh Covid-19 cases.

On the other hand, 969 persons have also been cured and discharged from hospitals on Friday.

In all, 2064 fresh cases have been detected taking the number of total positive cases to 43,833.

The number of active cases in the state is now 15,256, while 28,149 persons have been cured and discharged till date.

The state has collected 9,50,015 samples till date, out of which 43,833 have been found positive.
