Corona kills 3 more in TMH, one each from Sidhgora, Sakchi and Golmuri, total deaths 42

123 more test positive for Corona in city, total infections in city 2113

Jamshedpur: Corona has killed three more persons on Sunday taking the total death tally for the city to 42. Moreover, 123 more people have tested positive for Corona in the city taking the total infection cases in the city to 2100 on Sunday.

According to information received from the health department, three persons died of Corona in the city on Sunday.

The first person who died was a 68-year-old woman from Sakchi. She was admitted in TMh with breathing difficulties. She died on Sunday.

The second person who died in the evening was a 56-year-old man from Refugee Colony, Golmuri. He was admitted on August 1, 2020 with breathing difficulties and fever. He had co-morbidities too. He succumbed to complications on Sunday.

The third death occurred in the evening too. He was a 57-year-old employee of Tata Steel from Sidhgora. He was an employee of Lime Plant, Tata Steel and was normal till July 25. He developed fever while on leave and had complications. He was found Covid positive and he died on Sunday.

Till date three Tata Steel employees have died of Corona.

Meanwhile, 110 more persons have tested positive for Corona in the city taking the number of total infections to 2113.

The district administration has advised people to not venture out of their houses needlessly and to continue maintaining social distance and taking precautions.
