5-year-old child’s body found near Situ Talab in Telco

Jamshedpur: In a shocking incident, the dead body of a 5-year-old child was found from Situ Talab under the jurisdiction of Telco police station. The child had gone missing since Friday evening at 7 p.m. Today, his dead body was recovered from the Situ Talab (pond).

The family went into a shock as soon as they found out that the child was no more and his body was found.

The child’s grant parents live in Nanak Nagar and the pond is around 4 km away from that area.

The child was also unable to hear or speak.

It is a mystery how the child reached so far without anyone knowing about it.

Telco police reached the site and sent the body for post mortem. The case is being investigated.

The father of the deceased child lives in Bokaro. The maternal uncle of the child works in Tinplate.

He said that the family was trying to trace the child since last evening and it is not clear how the child reached the Talab (pond).

The incident has cast a pall of gloom in the locality.
