Jamshedpur: Two more persons have tested positive in East Singhbhum district on Friday. With this, the total number of positive cases in the district has reached 353.
However, 10 persons were also cured and discharged from hospital today. The total of number of cured persons has now reached 211, while the number of active cases in the state is only 142.
Till date, total 19484 samples have been sent to the labs in East Singhbhum. This includes the labs in MGMCH as well as TMH lab. Out of these 18481 samples have tested negative, while 231 samples are in the process of being tested.
Thus the district has reached the figure of 353 now, as far as total number of infected persons is concerned.
Friday saw a dip in the number of positive cases, as on Thursday, the number of positive persons found was eight.
Meanwhile, the district administration has again reiterated its appeal to the citizens to continue abiding by all the safety precautions to prevent the spread of the disease and to continue social distancing.
