East Singhbhum Agrawal Body Felicitates Toppers, Professionals

JAMSHEDPUR – The East Singhbhum District Agrawal Sammelan organized a felicitation ceremony on Tuesday to honor students and young professionals from the community. The event, titled “Samaj Ke Nagine Samman Samaroh,” was held at Agrasen Bhawan in Sakchi.
Sponsored by Sarlal Engineering Limited, the ceremony recognized individuals who brought pride to the Agrawal community and the city through their achievements. Nandini Shukla, former principal of Kerala Samajam, and Rajni Shekhar, former principal of DBMS Kadma, attended as guests of honor.
Both guests encouraged students to pursue discipline and hard work. They wished the honorees continued success in their future endeavors.
The ceremony recognized students who scored 90 percent or above in CBSE and ICSE board examinations for classes 10 and 12. Organizers said this criterion applied to results from the current academic cycle.
In addition, the event honored young professionals who completed advanced degrees in 2026. Recipients included newly qualified chartered accountants, doctors, engineers, company secretaries and cost management accountants.
Kavita Agarwal, Manisha Sanghi, Anju Chetani, Ankita Lodha and Neha Chaudhary coordinated the program. Their efforts ensured smooth conduct of the felicitation ceremony.
Abhishek Agarwal “Goldy,” president of the East Singhbhum District Agrawal Sammelan, led the event. General secretary Mantu Agarwal and treasurer Ajay Bhalotia also presided over proceedings.
Alok Chaudhary and Rahul Chaudhary represented sponsor Sarlal Engineering Limited at the ceremony. Sandeep Murarka, president of the Jharkhand Provincial Agrawal Sammelan, was also present.
Several other community members attended the event as well. They included Kamal Kishore Agarwal, Santosh Agarwal, Arun Gupta, Ashok Gupta, Nirmal Kabra and Naresh Modi.
Additional attendees included Omprakash Ringsia, Shankar Singhal, Bajrang Agarwal, Lalchand Agarwal and Vijay Munka. Shankar Agarwal, Bhawani Shankar Gupta, Mahavir Modi, Sanwarmal Agarwal and Bablu Agarwal also joined the gathering.
Speakers at the event said honoring community talent inspires future generations toward similar excellence. They expressed hope that such programs would strengthen a culture of education and achievement within the community.
The ceremony concluded with organizers thanking the honorees, their parents, guests and coordinators. They pledged to continue such recognition events in Jamshedpur in the future.
The felicitation follows a pattern of similar recognition events held across the city’s institutions this year. Earlier, a Loyola School student was recognized for topping the city in JEE Advanced.
Meanwhile, local institutions have also marked academic milestones recently. A nearby institution held its graduation day ceremony earlier this year.
Besides school-level recognition, higher education bodies in the city have organized their own events. Jamshedpur Women’s University recently announced its first convocation date.
The university has also hosted skill-building sessions for students in the past. This included a self-development workshop organized by its MBA department.
On the other hand, city colleges have also focused on career guidance for students. One such institution held a seminar on career prospects in emerging fields.
