Heatwave Tragedy Claims Child’s Life in Niranjanpur

GHATSHILA – A five-year-old boy died after falling from a rooftop in Bahragora’s Niranjanpur village during a prolonged electricity outage.

Meanwhile, the incident occurred under KumarDubi panchayat in Bahragora block.

The deceased child was identified as Vidyut Munda. He was Upendra Munda’s son.

However, heavy winds and rain disrupted electricity supply Sunday night.

As a result, the family slept together on their rooftop.

Later, the child awoke during midnight hours. He started walking downstairs afterward.

However, he accidentally slipped from the rooftop edge. He sustained critical injuries immediately.

Subsequently, family members rushed him toward Bahragora Community Health Centre.

Moreover, doctors examined the child during emergency treatment procedures.

However, medical officials declared the child dead during preliminary treatment.

Besides, grief spread throughout Niranjanpur village after the tragedy surfaced.

Later, teachers visited the mourning family Monday morning. They offered emotional support afterward.

Meanwhile, Vidyut studied at Saraswati Shishu Mandir Pathpur Darkhuli.

Furthermore, Rohit Kuila visited the residence after the incident.

In addition, Shakti Kumar Sahu attended the condolence gathering.
