AJSU Party Stages “Halla Bol” Protest at JNAC Office

12-Point Demand Charter Presented to Address Local Issues

Demonstration highlights concerns over land, housing, and public services in Jamshedpur.

JAMSHEDPUR – The AJSU Party organized a "Halla Bol" demonstration at the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) office on Friday, presenting a comprehensive list of demands to the Deputy Municipal Commissioner.

"The government’s policies are failing to serve public interests," stated AJSU District President Kanhaiya Singh. "Their election promises have proven hollow, particularly for women and youth."

Key Demands

The key demands of the delegation were the following:

  • Immediate processing of land mutation applications and resolution of zero plot issues.

  • Transparency in Abua Housing selection to benefit needy families.

  • Addressing drinking water shortages in the notified area.

  • Expediting issuance of caste, income, and residential certificates for scholarship applicants.

  • Resolving illegal parking issues near PJ PM Mall to ease traffic congestion.

  • Ensuring 24-hour power supply in Basti areas during the heatwave.

Other Concerns

  • Regular pension payments and timely ration distribution.

  • Repairing defunct hand pumps.

  • Action against unauthorized construction in the city.

  • Prioritizing Jharkhand agitators and their families in government schemes.

The protest saw participation from numerous AJSU members, including Munna Singh, Appu Tiwari, and Chandrashwar Pandey.

This demonstration underscores growing dissatisfaction with local governance and highlights the need for improved public services and transparency in Jamshedpur.
