Hindi Department delves into the reality of labor life through literary works

Karim City College (KCC) in Jamshedpur marked Labor Day with a thought-provoking seminar titled "Labor Life in Hindi Stories," organized by the Hindi Department, which explored the realities of labor life as depicted in various Hindi literary works.

JAMSHEDPUR – Karim City College (KCC) in Jamshedpur commemorated Labor Day with a seminar titled "Labor Life in Hindi Stories," organized by the Hindi Department, delving into the reality of labor life through various Hindi literary works.

The event was chaired by Dr. S.C. Gupta, Head of the Hindi Department, and Dr. Firoz Alam, Professor of Hindi Department, who guided the discussions and shared their insights on the topic.

Both teachers and students actively participated in the seminar, with notable contributions from students including Rahul Mandal, Pratibha Tripathi, Nisha Bhattacharya, and Khushbu Kumari.

The seminar explored the portrayal of labor life in Hindi stories by renowned authors, shedding light on the challenges and experiences faced by the working class.

In his presidential address, Dr. Gupta discussed the works of Premchand and contemporary storytellers, highlighting the various aspects of labor life and the questions that arise from these literary depictions.

The event provided a platform for participants to engage in meaningful discussions and gain a deeper understanding of the realities of labor life as represented in Hindi literature.

The seminar concluded with Pratibha Tripathi expressing gratitude to all present, acknowledging the importance of such events in fostering a greater appreciation for the struggles and contributions of the labor force.
