JAMSHEDPUR – Sakchi Durga Bari’s 87th Annual Basanti Durga Puja from April 14-18 will include daily rituals, pushpanjali, and prasad distribution at Chenab Road.
General Secretary Santanu Bose of Sakchi Durga Bari shared details of the event schedule and the arrangements for daily prasad distribution following the prayers.
Pushpanjali rituals will be observed each day, allowing devotees to offer their prayers and respects to the goddess.
The celebration will conclude with Dashami on April 18, following the significant days of Maha Navami on April 17, Maha Ashtami on April 16, Maha Saptami on April 15, and Maha Shashthi Puja on April 14.
This traditional observance will commence with Maha Shashthi Puja on April 14, marking the beginning of the revered Basanti Puja festivities.
The Basanti Puja at Sakchi Durga Bari, celebrated for its adherence to ritualistic traditions, will span from Sunday, April 14, to Thursday, April 18, on Chenab Road.
