Major development in Jharkhand’s anti-Naxal campaign as four active Naxals surrendered in Chaibasa under Operation Navjeevan-III.
The surrendering cadres include ₹10 lakh bounty holder Saluka Kayam and ₹1 lakh bounty holder Kodomuni Koda.
Security forces also recovered weapons and ammunition, including an AK-47, INSAS rifle, wireless set, magazines and live rounds.
Kolhan officials appealed to remaining Naxals to abandon violence and return to the mainstream under the government’s surrender and rehabilitation policy.
