Week-Long Agrasen Jayanti Celebrations Begin in Jamshedpur

Treasure Hunt, Stage Plays, and Bhajans Mark Grand Opening

JAMSHEDPUR – The week-long Agrasen Jayanti celebrations for 2025 commenced on Sunday with a treasure hunt competition, organized under the banner of East Singhbhum District Agarwal Conference. The event was hosted jointly by Agarwal Yuva Manch and Lions Club of Jamshedpur Premium.

A total of 16 teams participated in the competition. Team Black Bunny won the top prize, securing ₹11,000 along with the treasure. Venga Boys were declared runners-up with ₹7,100, while Team Operation Sindoor finished third with ₹5,100. Additional prizes were announced for best car decoration, costumes, special performance, and early completion.

Before the treasure hunt, all teams presented five-minute stage plays in themed attire. Emotional performances included “Operation Sindoor” on killings in Kashmir, “Chhapaak” on acid attack victims, a play on the Uttarakhand disaster, awareness on blood donation, the role of RSS, and Rajasthani culture. Anita Agarwal and Archana Agarwal received special recognition for outstanding performances.

The event was inaugurated by Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce President Vijay Anand Moondka, Honorary General Secretary Manav Kedia, social worker Arun Bakrewal, President Abhishek Agarwal Goldy, and General Secretary Mantu Agarwal. The judging panel included entrepreneur Harsh Bakrewal and CA Mukesh Agarwal. Guests, judges, sponsors, and participants were honored with mementoes and traditional shawls.

Organizers announced that prize distribution will take place on September 22 at Aam Bagan, Sakchi, during the main ceremony. Ashwini Agarwal, President of Agarwal Yuva Manch, credited the team’s hard work for the success. Anshul Ringasia, Secretary of Lions Club Premium, said the event promotes enthusiasm, entertainment, and healthy competition in society. The vote of thanks was delivered by Mayur Sanghi, General Secretary of Agarwal Yuva Manch.

The first day concluded with a devotional evening of Shyam Baba bhajans at Shyam Mandir, Bistupur, led by Mukesh Agiwal, Pranjal Sarawgi, and Lipu Sharma.

On September 17, Agrasen puja will be held at Ghatshila (2:00 pm), Dhalbhumgarh (3:00 pm), Chakulia (4:00 pm), and Jadugoda (5:30 pm), with wide participation from across the district.

Prominent attendees included Kamal Kishore Agarwal, Sandeep Murarka, Ajay Bhalotia, Omprakash Ringasia, Bajrang Lal Agarwal, Sanwarmal Agarwal, Shankar Agarwal, Rohit Agarwal, Deepak Pareek, Neha Choudhary, Sapna Bhauka, Mamta Moondka, Navneet Choudhary, Nisha Agarwal, Archana Agarwal, Mahesh Bhauka, Sunny Sanghi, Bimal Ringasia, and Ashwini Agarwal among many others.
