Tata Steel Zoological Society Finalizes Bonus Deal with Workers Union

21 Employees to Receive ₹4.37 Lakh in Performance Rewards

JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel Zoological Society (TSZS) signed a Bonus Agreement with its Workers Union on September 16, 2025, in the presence of both management and union representatives.

The agreement provides a performance reward of 8.33 percent of the salary (Basic + VDA) earned between April 1, 2024, and March 31, 2025. The minimum payment has been fixed at ₹12,200, while the maximum is ₹20,250 for employees who worked the full year.

In addition, employees crossing the maximum ceiling of ₹20,250 will get ₹1,000 extra above the reward. The total payout will be ₹4.37 lakh for 21 employees, which will be credited within two to three days.

On behalf of management, the pact was signed by Pranay Sinha, Vikas Kumar, Dr. Naim Akhtar, and Dr. M. Palit. From the union side, President Raghunath Pandey signed along with officials Dinesh Mahato, Vijay Mukhi, Lalan Kumar, Binod Sharma, Dilip Dey, Pratap Singh Gill, and Sulendra Das.

Both sides emphasized that the agreement reflects cooperation, recognition of employee contributions, and a focus on industrial harmony.
