Steel wage employees will see their DA rise by 1.86%. Economic analysts note this matches the current inflation rate of 1.9%.

Meanwhile, NS grade employees’ variable DA increases by Rs 366. Market research indicates similar hikes across the steel sector.

Employee Coverage

The revision benefits over 9,000 steel wage employees. Recent workforce statistics show a 10% growth in this category.

Furthermore, about 6,000 NS grade employees will receive additional benefits. Industry reports suggest a 15% increase in NS grade hiring.

Allowance Components

NS grade workers receive both fixed and variable DA components. Comparative data shows this dual structure in 70% of steel companies.

Moreover, their DA increases at Rs 3 per point. Financial experts predict continued allowance adjustments based on inflation trends.
