JAMSHEDPUR – The annual Shiv Mahapuran Katha commenced at NH-33 Vasundhara Estate today, starting with a grand Kalash Yatra. Hundreds of women participated in the procession, which showcased captivating depictions of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.

A Tradition of Devotion

For the past 25 years, the Shiv Mahapuran Katha has been held in the last week of December at Vasundhara Estate. The event aims to connect people with spirituality and features discourses by revered Brijnandan Ji Maharaj from Haridwar. The celebration begins with a ceremonial Kalash Yatra, symbolizing purity and devotion.

Message from Organizers

Speaking about the event, Brijnandan Ji Maharaj and organizing committee member Kali Sharma highlighted its role in fostering religious connection. “Through this tradition, we aim to help people find solace and solutions to their problems by turning to God,” they said. The event has grown into a significant occasion, bringing spiritual enrichment to attendees.
