JAMSHEDPUR – NIT Jamshedpur partners with IIM Visakhapatnam to launch a dual degree program offering MBA alongside B.Tech studies.

The program starts next academic session. Third-semester students become eligible to enroll.

Program Structure

The course adopts hybrid learning approach. Students can balance engineering with management studies.

The syllabus includes modern subjects. Data analytics and machine learning get special focus.

Academic Development

Faculty nominations have been completed. The course awaits final approvals.

Academic Council will review the program. Moreover, Board of Governance’s consent is required.

Professional Courses

MTech fees may reduce significantly. Current charges are Rs 75,000 per semester.

Evening classes accommodate working professionals. Furthermore, companies requested fee reduction.

Future Vision

NIT plans a dedicated management department. The institute focuses on industry-aligned skills.

The program targets career enhancement. “This provides competitive advantage,” Dr. CH Madhusudan explained.
