JAMSHEDPUR – A blood donation camp was organized on Friday at the Engineering Development and Innovation Center under the auspices of JDC and TGS Tata Steel Gamharia. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from TGS employees, setting an exemplary model of community service.

The camp’s inauguration was conducted by Sharad Sharma, General Manager of TGS, who served as the chief guest. Notable figures like JDC Chairman Pancham Pranlal Tank and Tisco Mazdoor Union General Secretary Shiv Lakhan Singh also graced the occasion. Their presence motivated the participants, boosting their spirit of giving back to society.

Several key individuals contributed significantly to the event’s smooth execution. Pradeep Ghosh, Bijesh Yatindran, Deepak Varghese, Arun Kumar, and Dr. Lakshmi Narayan worked tirelessly to ensure the camp’s success.

Additionally, members of the administrative team, including Uday Shankar Pathak, Sanjay Tiwari, and Vikas Verma, alongside welfare committee members Kumar Vivek, Ranjan Mishra, Prabhunath Karn, Kaushal Kumar, Omprakash Pathak, Dilip Mahato, Naveen Kumar, and Dinesh Upadhyay, played active roles in managing the event.

The initiative aimed to emphasize the critical importance of blood donation in saving lives and contributing to societal well-being. Participants highlighted that donating blood is not just a humanitarian act but also a moral responsibility toward society.

Speaking about the success of the camp, a senior organizer stated, “This initiative demonstrates how collective efforts and social awareness can achieve larger goals. Blood donation camps play a vital role in bringing positive change to society.”
