JAMSHEDPUR – Indian leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, expressed condolences over the death of Ratan Tata.
Ratan Tata, 86, died at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, where he was being treated after a sudden drop in blood pressure.
PM Modi, in a heartfelt tribute, called Tata a “visionary business leader” and praised his dedication to India’s progress.
He highlighted Tata’s kindness, humility, and leadership in transforming Tata Group into a global giant.
Modi shared fond memories of his interactions with Tata during his tenure as Gujarat CM and later as PM, emphasizing how enriching their discussions had been.
