JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel Tinplate Division has finalized a bonus agreement for its employees, offering a 17.89 percent payout with a maximum cap of Rs 1,00,694.
The company, formerly known as Tinplate Company of India Limited, will distribute Rs 4.68 crore among 860 employees.
This year’s bonus amount shows a decrease compared to the previous year.
In contrast, last year’s bonus totaled Rs 5.31 crore, benefiting 895 employees.
The new agreement, signed on Monday evening, reflects a lower percentage than last year’s 20 percent.
Union President Rakeshwar Pandey played a key role in finalizing the agreement.
Additionally, Vice Presidents Parvinder Singh Sohal and Satnam Singh participated in the negotiations.
General Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh also contributed to the discussions.
Other union members, including Gautam De and Munna Khan, were present during the signing.
Moreover, Vakil Khan and Sai Babu Raju represented the employees’ interests.
Jagjeet Singh, another union member, took part in the negotiation process.
Treasurer Sanjay Kumar helped oversee the financial aspects of the agreement.
Furthermore, Joint Treasurer Bhupendra Kumar Singh assisted in finalizing the details.
The agreement marks a significant development for Tata Steel Tinplate Division employees.
While the bonus percentage has decreased, it still represents a substantial payout for workers.
