JAMSHEDPUR – Preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to Jamshedpur on September 15 were reviewed by BJP State President Babulal Marandi on Friday.

During a meeting held at Tulsi Bhavan in Bistupur, Jamshedpur, BJP State President Babulal Marandi assessed the preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit.

Marandi, during his review, sharply criticized the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) party, accusing it of becoming a party limited to one family.

"JMM has become a party of one family, with only Chief Minister Hemant Soren and his wife Kalpana Soren being prominently displayed in the banners," Marandi stated.

He highlighted a perceived shift in the party’s focus by noting that the founder, Dishom Guru Shibu Soren, is no longer visible.

Focus on Upcoming Elections

Marandi outlined the itinerary for Prime Minister Modi’s visit while addressing the gathering.

He mentioned that PM Modi would land at Sonari Airport on September 15 and proceed to Tatanagar Railway Station for an official program.

Following this, a roadshow will be held from Tatanagar Station to Gopal Maidan, where the Prime Minister is expected to address a large gathering.

Marandi directed the BJP workers from the Kolhan division to gear up for the upcoming assembly elections, emphasizing the need to secure all 14 seats in the region.

He stressed the importance of the grassroots campaign, instructing party workers to reach out to every household to communicate the public welfare initiatives undertaken by Prime Minister Modi’s government.

"We must ensure that every voter is aware of the work done by our Prime Minister for the common people," Marandi urged.

He added, "Our aim is to win all 14 seats in Kolhan."

Marandi also announced that on September 8 and 9, BJP workers would carry out a meticulous inspection of voter lists at the booth level.

They are to ensure that no eligible voter’s name has been wrongly removed or incorrectly added.

"If there is any irregularity in the voter list, it must be reported immediately to the district administration and senior party officials," Marandi asserted.

Sanctioning Sankalp Yatra

In a significant move, Marandi announced the launch of the Sankalp Yatra in all divisions of Jharkhand.

This yatra is scheduled for September 20 and 21, with the objective of energizing BJP workers and building momentum among the public.

Marandi explained that the BJP has divided Jharkhand into six divisions organizationally.

The Sankalp Yatra will be carried out in each of these divisions to rally support.

"The Sankalp Yatra is designed to inject enthusiasm among our workers and to create a favorable atmosphere among the electorate," Marandi said.

He underlined the importance of this initiative for the upcoming elections.

Marandi concluded by reiterating the BJP’s commitment to winning the upcoming elections and ensuring that the party’s programs and campaigns reach every corner of the state before the official election announcement.

He said, "Before the election dates are announced, it is imperative that all BJP activities and campaigns are in full swing."
