Tata Steel organized its Inter-Divisional Football Tournament from August 26-28, 2024, at the Armoury Ground and Tinplate Sports Complex.
JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel’s Inter-Divisional Football Tournament concluded with Shared Services emerging as champions.
The Tata Steel Sports Department hosted the tournament from August 26 to 28, 2024, at the Armoury Ground and Tinplate Sports Complex in Jamshedpur.
The event saw participation from 270 players representing 19 units of Tata Steel.
Chief Guest Merlyn Ferdose Anklesaria, Head of Tata Steel Corporate Communication, attended the event and appreciated the enthusiasm shown by the participants.
The Shared Services team won the tournament, demonstrating outstanding skill and teamwork.
Steel Manufacturing secured the runner-up position, while the Tata Steel Kalinganagar team took the 2nd runner-up spot.
Tata Steel’s dedication to promoting sports and camaraderie among its employees was evident throughout the tournament.
The event served as an excellent opportunity for employees to showcase their football talents and engage in healthy competition.
