7 Gold, 3 Silver, and 6 Bronze medals secured in Bengaluru competition
Tata Steel Adventure Foundation (TSAF) cadets have demonstrated exceptional skill at the National Youth Climbing Cup, bringing home an impressive 16 medals.
JAMSHEDPUR – TSAF cadets have secured 16 medals, including 7 gold, at the National Youth Climbing Cup held in Bengaluru on August 10-11.
The competition, organized by the Indian Mountaineering Foundation, took place at the Yavanika Climbing Wall in Bengaluru.
TSAF’s team of 21 athletes competed in both Lead and Speed climbing events.
The cadets participated in three categories: Youth A, Youth B, and Junior, for both Male and Female divisions.
Over 100 athletes from across India took part in this national-level climbing competition.
The TSAF Sport Climbing Academy’s grassroots centers were well-represented by the participating cadets.
Coaches from the TSAF Sport Climbing Academy accompanied the athletes, providing crucial guidance and support.
The team’s impressive medal haul consisted of 7 Gold, 3 Silver, and 6 Bronze medals.
This outstanding performance highlights the strength of TSAF’s training programs and the talent of its young climbers.
The success at this national event showcases Jamshedpur’s growing prominence in the sport climbing arena.
