Public Outcry Against Threats to MLA Saryu Roy

Dhanbad Criminal’s Threats Stir Concern Among Jamshedpur Citizens

Viral audio of Prince Khan’s threats against MLA Saryu Roy raises alarms about democracy’s safety.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a shocking incident that has stirred widespread condemnation and concern, Prince Khan of Dhanbad has allegedly used abusive language and issued threats against Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy, a key figure of Bharatiya Jantantra Morcha.

This blatant disregard for civil discourse and democratic principles has ignited a strong reaction from the public and political figures alike.

Sanjeev Acharya, the Central General Secretary cum Kolhan in-charge of Bharatiya Jantantra Morcha, expressed his deep concerns over the incident, emphasizing the threat it poses to democratic processes and the safety of public representatives.

Sanjeev Acharya has vocally condemned Prince Khan’s actions, questioning the effectiveness of the Dhanbad administration in dealing with such threats.

He raised serious doubts about the forces enabling criminals like Khan to challenge public figures without fear of repercussions.

"It’s alarming how such elements feel empowered to dictate the political landscape, undermining the electoral process," Acharya stated, highlighting the urgency of the matter.

The Bharatiya Jantantra Morcha has called for immediate action from the District Administration, Election Commission, Chief Minister, Governor, and Prime Minister to ensure Prince Khan is held accountable for his actions.

They demand a thorough investigation by an independent agency to bring to light the enablers within the administration that have allowed such threats to proliferate.

Acharya’s demands extend beyond mere punishment for Prince Khan; he seeks a comprehensive examination of the systemic flaws that permit such behavior.

"Who is protecting these anti-social elements? It’s crucial we expose the forces behind them to safeguard our democracy and ensure the integrity of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections," he remarked.

This incident has raised significant concerns about the influence of criminal elements on the political process and the ability of elected representatives to perform their duties without fear of violence.

The call to action is clear: to protect democracy, swift and decisive measures must be taken against those who threaten its foundations.
