Federation of Indians Association to Honor Jharkhand BJP Spokesperson in Chicago

Kunal Sarangi, former MLA, to be honored with prestigious award at Republic Day Festival in Chicago.

JAMSHEDPUR – Former MLA and Jharkhand BJP spokesperson Kunal Sarangi is set to receive the International Youth Icon Award.

The Federation of Indians Association, Chicago, will honor him during the Republic Day Festival on January 28, 2024.

An official email invitation was sent to Sarangi, confirming his recognition for significant contributions in education, health, and social welfare.

The FIA-Chicago is a notable non-profit, representing over three lakh Indians and Asian-Americans, aiming to promote Indian cultural heritage.

This award acknowledges Sarangi’s impactful work with the youth of Jharkhand, particularly in East Singhbhum.

Sarangi dedicates this honor to the people of Jharkhand, attributing his inspiration to their support during the Covid-19 pandemic.

His international recognition includes participation in the IVLP program of the US government in 2018 and an invitation to speak at Harvard University in 2019.

Sarangi plans to attend flag hoisting in Jamshedpur on January 26 before departing for the award ceremony in Chicago.

He expresses gratitude towards the youth of Jharkhand and the district for their continual support.
