BJP General Secretary Madhusudan Gorai Aids in Rescue After Serious Highway Accident
A severe collision on NH 33 led to the heroic rescue of a trapped driver by BJP’s Madhusudan Gorai, highlighting concerns over NHAI’s road management.
CHANDIL – A serious road accident occurred late Saturday evening on NH 33 in Nargadih, under Chandil police station in Seraikela district, involving a massive collision between a truck and a highway vehicle.
The driver of the highway vehicle was trapped inside the cabin following the crash.
The accident occurred when a 12-wheeler truck, traveling from Ranchi to Jamshedpur, collided with an uncontrolled highway vehicle.
BJP District General Secretary Madhusudan Gorai, who happened to be passing by, stopped to assist at the scene.
With the help of his supporters, Gorai managed to rescue the trapped driver from the wrecked cabin.
The injured driver was then transported to MGM hospital for treatment with the assistance of local people.
Meanwhile, the Chandil police team, upon receiving information about the incident, arrived at the scene and arranged for the slightly injured truck driver to receive medical attention at a local hospital.
The cause of the accident has been attributed to the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) making the four-lane road one-way for repairs.
This change near Nargadih, which involved converting a section of the four-lane road to one-way, is reportedly leading to frequent accidents.
Gorai pointed out the negligence of NHAI in road management, citing it as a factor in the increasing number of road accidents and loss of lives.
He announced his intention to report these concerns to senior officials of NHAI, calling for immediate attention to the issue.
