Tata Steel’s JDC Spends Time with Govindpur School Students, Donates Warm Clothes

Tata Steel’s R&D Scientific Services JDC visited Janata Middle School in Govindpur, Jamshedpur, to engage with students and donate warm clothes.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a heartwarming community outreach, Tata Steel’s R&D Scientific Services Joint Departmental Committee (JDC) visited Janata Middle School in Govindpur, Jamshedpur, bringing warmth and knowledge to the students.

The JDC members spent two hours at the school, engaging in various activities.

During their visit, the JDC members played sports with the children, creating an environment of fun and physical activity. They also shared their knowledge, aiming to boost the students’ interest in studies.

The program was attended by JDC Chairman Dr. Anup Kumar and the school principal, who oversaw the entire event. The chief guests praised the efforts of everyone involved.

The presentation featured prominent JDC members, including Vice Chairman Binod Pandey, Mansi Adhikari, Gautam Mukhopadhyay, Irshad Akhtar, Rakesh Dubey, Mayanknath Tiwari, Sanjeev Yadav, Amit Mandal, and JDC Secretary Subhashish. Rajshre from the Tata Steel Foundation was also present.

As part of Tata Steel’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, the JDC has adopted Janata Middle School. They plan to continue working with the school to support and enrich the students’ educational experiences.

The JDC members said that this visit not only highlights Tata Steel’s commitment to community engagement but also emphasizes the importance of corporate involvement in educational development.
