Tatanagar officials bid an emotional farewell to ARM Harshit Oraon as he transfers to Bondamunda, reflecting on key learnings and similarities in iron ore transportation.

JAMSHEDPUR – Tatanagar’s Area Manager (ARM) Harshit Oraon, known for his significant contributions, has been transferred to Bondamunda of the Chakradharpur Railway Division.

On Wednesday, Tatanagar railway officials organized a heartfelt farewell cum felicitation ceremony in the station director’s chamber.

Oraon was honored by his colleagues with flower bunches and traditional body clothes, marking his departure.

Having been promoted and appointed as Tatanagar’s ARM in July 2022, Oraon initially served as ACM before taking up his role at Tatanagar on November 30, 2022.

During his tenure in Tatanagar, Oraon played a pivotal role in the railway’s operations for over a year.

In his farewell speech, he reflected on the valuable experiences and lessons he gained in Tatanagar.

He highlighted the parallels between Tata and Bondamunda, particularly in the transportation of iron ore, which he believes will be advantageous in his new role.

Oraon’s transfer comes after a year of dedicated service, leaving a mark of his professional excellence in Tatanagar.

His colleagues expressed their gratitude and admiration for his work, acknowledging the impact he had during his tenure.

The railway officials said that the ceremony was not just a farewell but a celebration of Oraon’s achievements and a good luck gesture for his future endeavors in Bondamunda.
