BJP’s ST Morcha Burns Effigy of Congress MLA Irfan Ansari in Protest

ST Morcha of BJP burns Congress MLA Irfan Ansari’s effigy in Jamshedpur over comments made about tribals.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Scheduled Tribe (ST) Morcha of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) staged a protest by burning the effigy of Congress MLA Irfan Ansari in front of the BJP office in Sakchi.

This protest comes in response to recent remarks made by MLA Ansari during the monsoon session of Vidhan Sabha, where he reportedly taunted Babulal Marandi and made controversial comments about the tribal community.

The ST Morcha, expressing outrage over Ansari’s statement, took to the streets to demonstrate their displeasure.

ST Morcha District President Bina Nand Sirka addressed the crowd, criticizing Ansari for his "fallen mentality" towards the tribals, the very community he says is responsible for Ansari’s current position.

Sirka also warned that if the coalition government does not take any action following their protest, the Morcha will escalate their demonstrations and burn the effigy of the state’s Chief Minister.

The effigy burning signals the BJP’s ST Morcha’s strong opposition to Ansari’s comments and their commitment to defending the tribal community.
