Trimbak Mahadev Temple’s revered priest Baba Gorakhnath Tiwari passes away, leaving the Jamshedpur community in mourning.
JAMSHEDPUR – The revered Baba Gorakhnath Tiwari, chief priest of Trimbak Mahadev Temple, more commonly known as Bada Hanuman Temple, sadly passed away unexpectedly last night.
Baba was seen performing the evening aarti yesterday, appearing in perfect health.
Upon feeling slightly cold before returning home, Baba consulted a doctor and took prescribed medication.
After eating dinner, he retired to bed, not to wake up again.
Baba was known for his vibrant service to the temple, exuding humility and sociability in his actions.
He leaves behind his wife, two married daughters, and grandchildren.
Baba was seventy-five years old at the time of his passing.
His body, taken from his residence for the last rites, was kept at the temple premises where a large crowd gathered to pay their respects.
President of the temple committee Ramashray Singh, Secretary Shiv Prakash Sharma, along with many others, including BJP leaders and priests of the temple, paid tribute to his soul and prayed for his peace in the divine realm.
