Ethics Quiz for Media Held by Tata Steel in Jamshedpur

Tata Steel’s Ethics Quiz sees over 24 media professionals participate, reinforcing ethical principles and marking the company’s Ethics Month celebration.

JAMSHEDPUR – On July 13, 2023, Tata Steel organized an Ethics Quiz for Media at the Centre For Excellence in Jamshedpur, attracting over 24 media personnel from the city to participate in this engaging event.

Several journalists from Jamshedpur were also present to witness the quiz.

A preliminary round, consisting of 30 questions, marked the commencement of the quiz. Here, the participants answered in groups of two, leading to the selection of four finalists for the final buzzer round after careful assessment.

This quiz was specifically crafted to gauge the participants’ understanding of ethics and their aptitude to implement these ethical principles in real-world situations.

Parvinder Bhatia from The Pioneer and Manpreet Singh Bhatia from Avenue Mail came out victorious, securing the title of winners of the Ethics Quiz 2023.

Brajesh Singh and Sanam Kumar Singh from Prabhat Khabar earned the runners-up position, whereas Anjani Pandey and Nanak Singh from Sahara Samay secured third place.

Prizes were distributed to the winners by Sarvesh Kumar, Chief of Corporate Communications at Tata Steel, and Soni, Chief Ethics Counsellor at Tata Steel.

The quizmaster for this inaugural Ethics Quiz was Amit Kumar Modak, Senior Manager of Corporate Ethics at Tata Steel.

The event marked Tata Steel’s observance of Ethics Month, a significant celebration held every July across the organization to further underline its ethical culture.
