Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee rallies in support of Rahul Gandhi and claims that Rahul’s Bharat Jodo Yatra has unnerved the Bharatiya Janata Party.
RANCHI – The maun satyagraha, or silent protest, on Wednesday in Ranchi was led by the State Congress President Rajesh Thakur who offered tributes to Mahatma Gandhi’s statue to start the protest.
The event saw the participation of several prominent figures including the Executive President of the Agricultural Marketing Board, Shahzada Anwar, and the Chairman of Gau Sewa Commission, Rakesh Sinha Mehta.
Rajesh Thakur, the president of the Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC), along with other congressmen, held a protest on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at the Morhabadi grounds in Ranchi in support of Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the Congress party.
The demonstration was held to voice their support for Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, an initiative aimed at uniting the country.
Youth Congress State Secretary, Rakesh Sahu, stated that the success of the Bharat Jodo Yatra has troubled the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
He suggested that Rahul Gandhi has been the victim of a conspiracy, a fact that, according to him, the entire country is witnessing.
