AJSU to Protest at Block Offices in Jamshedpur Over Public Problems

All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU) announces protests at block offices across the region, citing issues related to public services and rampant corruption.

JAMSHEDPUR – A joint meeting of the AJSU Jugsalai Municipality and Potka Block Committee was held on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at the Neelkanth Hotel located in Jugsalai.

Presided over by the Chief Secretary of Jugsalai Municipality, Dinesh Jaiswal, the meeting was conducted by Executive Chairman Praveen Prasad, with the vote of thanks offered by Potka Block President Bablu Gop.

During the meeting, the district president of the party, Kanhaiya Singh, expressed his concerns about the state of Jharkhand, highlighting issues from inadequate public services to corruption among the ruling party, legislators, ministers, and the chief minister.

Ramchandra Sahis, the former minister and the central chief general secretary of the AJSU party, rallied the workers, assuring that their efforts and struggles would not be in vain.

He pointed out corruption at the state head level, the misleading of youth, and the exploitation of the public.

He emphasized that the AJSU party would not let the public’s struggle against such problems be dismissed and encouraged all to make the party’s policy principles known to the public.

District In-charge cum Central Secretary Prof. Ravi Shankar Maurya raised the issue of tax hikes and arbitrary recovery from the local people in the buildings within the Jugsalai Municipal Council.

He condemned the misinformation being spread to loot the people and the local legislators’ attempts to claim credit by presenting a show of stopping such corruption.
