The Jharkhand High Court grants relief to Rahul Gandhi, overturning the lower court’s decision. Rahul Gandhi can now appear virtually, avoiding physical presence. Next hearing scheduled for August 16.

RANCHI – In a significant development, the Jharkhand High Court has provided a major relief to former Congress President Rahul Gandhi in the Modi surname case.

The High Court has overturned the decision of the lower court, which had required Rahul Gandhi to physically appear in court.

As per the latest ruling, Rahul Gandhi will now be able to participate in the proceedings virtually, eliminating the need for his physical presence.

The hearing in the court was presided over by Judge Justice Sanjay Kumar Dwivedi.

Rahul Gandhi’s legal team, consisting of advocates Piyush Chitresh and Dipankar Roy, presented his case before the court.

It has been reported that the next hearing in the case is scheduled for August 16.

The Modi surname case pertains to a lower court’s directive for Rahul Gandhi to appear physically.

However, with the recent ruling of the Jharkhand High Court, Rahul Gandhi has been relieved from the requirement of physical presence, allowing him to participate in the proceedings remotely.

This decision comes as a significant relief for Rahul Gandhi, as it eliminates the logistical challenges and inconveniences associated with attending the court in person.

By permitting virtual participation, the High Court has ensured a smoother legal process for the former Congress President.

The next hearing on August 16 will be crucial in determining the future course of the case. It remains to be seen how the proceedings unfold and what impact this ruling will have on the overall outcome.

As the legal battle continues, all eyes will be on the next hearing on August 16, which will play a crucial role in shaping the direction of the case and its ultimate resolution.
