Shravani Mela Set to Open in Basukinath Dham in Dumka, All Preparations Complete

Deputy Commissioner urges officers, personnel, and soldiers to work with a spirit of service during the Shravani Mela in Dumka, Basukinath Dham.

DUMKA – The much-anticipated Shravani fair is set to be inaugurated in Basukinath Dham today.

All administrative arrangements have been successfully completed for this significant event.

The Deputy Commissioner of Dumka, Ravi Shankar Shukla, addressed the officers, personnel, and soldiers who have been assigned to the Shravani Mela.

He delivered his address from the Mayurakshi Kala Manch stage located in the Basukinath block premises of the district.

In his address, he urged the officers and personnel not to view their assignments as mere orders but to consider them opportunities for service.

He emphasized the importance of serving the devotees who travel to Basukinath from across the country and even from abroad.

Shukla encouraged everyone to fulfill their duties with honesty and a spirit of service, highlighting the sacred nature of their tasks.
