AJSU to demonstrate at Bistupur electricity office on June 7 over East Singhbhum’s power issues. Warning issued for week-long ultimatum.
JAMSHEDPUR – In the light of ongoing power problems in East Singhbhum district, the AJSU Party District Committee, headed by District President Kanhaiya Singh, announced a protest to voice their concerns.
The district’s power issues have disrupted lives, affecting children’s education and daily routines, prompting the party to take action.
At the committee meeting held today at Nirmal Guest House, Singh announced plans for a one-day symbolic demonstration outside the Bistupur electricity office on June 7.
Furthermore, the party will issue a one-week ultimatum to the responsible bodies, warning them of potential heightened protests if the situation doesn’t improve within the stipulated time.
Singh criticized local leaders, stating, "from MPs to MLAs to all officers, they are enjoying electricity and water facilities provided by Tata Steel, which is why they are silent."
He affirmed that the AJSU party will continue to raise public issues and fight for them.
The meeting saw the presence of Executive President Sanjay Malakar, along with other key members of the AJSU party.
